KINDERGARTEN PRE-REGISTRATION
2024-25 School Year - extended to April 19
Clarke County Public Schools is conducting kindergarten pre-registration for the 2024-2025 through April 19, 2024.
Children who will be 5 years of age on or before September 30, 2024 must be registered for kindergarten. Parents who wish to delay kindergarten entrance because their child, “in the opinion of the parent or guardian, is not mentally, physically or emotionally prepared to attend school” must notify the Clarke County Public Schools, in writing, of their intent (Code of VA §22.1-199 and § 22.1-254).
Parents must register their child in the attendance area in which they reside. Information on attendance areas can be found “Information, School Attendance Zones”.
