Blue Ridge Environmental Governor's School
The Blue Ridge Environmental Studies Regional Summer Governor's School for the gifted provides its students with two weeks of stimulating and challenging learning experiences in the area of field biology and ecology planned and delivered by highly qualified instructors committed to an interdisciplinary curriculum approach. The Blue Ridge Environmental Studies program provides opportunities for intellectually gifted children to work:
with their intellectual peers
on real problems in the area of environmental management
in an atmosphere of intellectual freedom and critical inquiry
at a level of intellectual expectation and depth of inquiry not generally attainable in a regular classroom
UVA Summer Enrichment Programs
